Welcome to SHORE KITTENS CATTERY specializing in PERSIAN & HIMALAYAN KITTENS. We are a small family-owned cattery producing Persian and Himalayan kittens located at the Jersey Shore in Ocean County, NJ. We are also centrally located and approximately one hour from New York City or Philadelphia providing convenience for travel to come and see these exquisite animals by appointment or through messaging if distance is a concern. WE are available to answer any questions or concerns our customers have and provide a high level of customer service before and after your kittens adoption. As your kitten grows up it is normal for you to have questions about grooming and overall care for your pet. Your cat will always be a Shore Kittens cat to us, and we are always available to answer any questions you may have and are always appreciative of any photos you send us of them as they grow up.
We are simply hobby breeders whose purpose and guarantee is to better the Persian cat breed which enables our customers to find amazing, loving emotional support animals. Our cattery is registered with the Cat Fanciers Association (CFA) under SHORE KITTENS and all our cats and kittens are guaranteed FULL BREED and have REGISTATION PAPERS and PEDIGREE HISTORIES available. SHORE KITTENS CATTERY - PERSIAN & HIMALAYAN produces healthy, happy, affectionate kittens guaranteed. Our female cats live in a cage-free environment, with our children and extended family. We spend a great deal of time with these kittens to ensure they are well-socialized and gentle becoming the special and iconic pets customers are seeking. These kittens are perfect companions, provide emotional support, and have the characteristics to thrive as therapy kittens/cats for SPECIAL NEEDS.
Operating a cattery requires a lot of hard work and dedication to ensure the perfect environment for our cats to thrive. It is a labor of love to produce kittens that give back all the love to our customers that they expect from these exquisite pets that drives our dedication. When our mommas are birthing we don’t get much sleep and we cannot leave our cats/kittens for longer than 12 hours making vacations almost impossible. SHORE KITTENS CATTERY is driven by LOVE. Most importantly our cattery exemplifies the passion we have for producing the BEST KITTENS for our customers. We have dedicated a large amount of time and resources into creating a loving environment for these cats/kittens because our cats, kittens and customers deserve only the best. Our kittens make people happy, which makes us happy. Our kittens have been placed with a wide variety of individuals and families, including Veterans with PTSD; the elderly; people with physical and mental disabilities; children; large and small families; and those who are simply in need of companionship or emotional support. Our adult cats have a wide variety of unique personalities passing these traits directly to their kittens making breeding selection choices a top priority of Shore Kittens Cattery. All our Breeding parents have caring, warm personalities that make them incredibly personable and people oriented. We believe no other kitten breeds provide this level of interpersonal interaction for our customers and this is why we are passionately in LOVE with PERSIANS and HIMALAYANS. No matter what your specific personality preference desires are, we have all types of kittens to assure you will find the perfect fit for your specific need. Our kittens can leave between 10 and 12 weeks. Each kitten has their own developmental timeline, and they stay at our cattery until they have hit the appropriate milestones for their age. Our kittens stay with their momma until they are eating, drinking, using their litter box, and scratch posts independently.
While cats are typically known to be on the lazier side and love their naps, they also love to indulge in playtime as well. We give our cats a wide variety of cat toys to help mentally stimulate them and ensure they’re getting an appropriate amount of exercise. Our kittens are introduced to cat toys as well and by the 10-to-12-week bench mark they are accustomed to any cat toys you may purchase for them.
